While our commitment is to continue the work of maximizing the potential of our academic program and meeting the needs of all of our students, we need your support.
Consequently, we kindly solicit financial donations of any amount. Please remember that donations to Benjamin E. Mays Preparatory School are tax deductible and can be restricted to a specific purpose or given to the general fund.

Get Involved
Mays Prep is more than a school for children; we are a community for families. While Mays Prep is guided by the mission of preparing every student for success in high school, college, and beyond – we understand that fulfilling this mission requires the active involvement of parents and community. When parents share their knowledge and talents, they help to create a more enriching environment. We believe that through the involvement of many, the quality of our programs are enhanced.
There are many ways to get involved at Mays Prep. Parents may help in classrooms, serve on committees, share skills and interests with students, or contribute food and manpower for many occasions.
Once involved, all of our parent and community volunteers will get a feel for the energy and excitement that makes Mays Prep special. Volunteering is a great way to get to know the faculty and staff and your child's classmates and see the school in action. More importantly, you'll also get to know the parents of your child's classmates. We're sure that these connections and friendships will serve you well the entire time your child attends Mays Prep.
